Fast Forward

At Anchor

It’s so true that the pace of your life determines your perception of time - the past month has been an incredible whirlwind for me.

Between re-rigging my entire boat, installing a horde of electronics including an SSB, building a dinghy and helping a friend build theirs, and a full provisioning and stowing process, I’ve hardly had time to think about, well, the passage of time. And now it’s March 1.

But now, my friends, the beginning of the entire reason for this whole shebang is here.

I’ve left the dock!

it’s very, very nice to be back where my boat and I belong - on the water.

Much more soon, including some catch-up posts (we’ll finish the dinghy, the rigging, and a couple other things we’ve started) as well as a discussion of The Plan from here (which will blow your socks off if you haven’t been too privvy to the general discussion up to this point).

Thanks for staying tuned. While we’ve been hands-on in practice but theoretical in voyaging here up to this point, it’s about to get real.
