Since I plan to be spending a bunch of time at anchor, it’s nice to have a little “shuttle” to get to and from shore, especially with gear such as water jugs, groceries, my bike, etc.

So I’m building a little wooden dinghy. I’ll write more about it soon, but here’s a teaser photo for now:



Building a wooden boat, even (maybe especially?) a small one is tremendously rewarding, a lot of fun, and you end up with something that is even more fun to actually use!
